Detail

The FETtec SFOC 4in1 ESC 50A is a next-generation ESC that controls four BLDC/PMSM motors using a single STM32H56 (ARM Cortex M33 @ 250MHz) microcontroller. Unlike conventional BLHeli/AM32-based ESCs, it uses FETtec proprietary SFOC (Simplified Field Oriented Control) sensorless motor control technology; the manufacturer states that it provides up to 13% improved efficiency and up to 30% faster acceleration. It supports 2S-8S LiPo and is configured via USB-C. Note: The capacitor is NOT INCLUDED in the package and must be purchased separately and soldered close to the battery pads (min. 35V, preferably 50V, at least 220μF). Betaflight passthrough support (as of December 2024) only works with versions up to Betaflight 4.5.0; a firmware update is expected for newer versions.
